Bihar Train Incident: Four Dead, Over 100 Injured

Train disaster occurred near Raghunathpur station in Bihar's Buxar district, involving coaches of the Delhi-Kamakhya Northeast Express.
The incident resulted in four passenger fatalities and left 30 individuals injured.
As a consequence, 92 trains had to be diverted, and eight trains were canceled.
The derailment led to damage to pillars, electrical poles, signal posts, and railway tracks in the area.
Trains on the New Delhi-Howrah main line experienced delays as they were halted at various locations due to the accident.
Officials suspect that poor track maintenance or a fault in the track switching system may have triggered the derailment.
The area was not known for any unlawful activities, according to an official statement.
Just months before, India experienced one of its worst rail disasters in two decades in Odisha
where 288 people lost their lives and over 1,000 were injured due to a collision involving passenger and freight trains.
Three of the passengers who lost their lives in the Bihar accident were identified, while the identity of the fourth victim remained unknown.
An expert committee has initiated an investigation into the technical aspects of the derailment.
Compensation has been provided to the affected families, and the injured are receiving necessary support.
